This is no more truer than in the case of Art and Gwen, two star-crossed strangers in the city, who are unknowingly about to embark on the most romantically important night of their lives. All they have to do is meet, get over each others faults and fall in love. What could go wrong?
Plenty
One Single Night follows these two opposing characters from evening till morning as they set out on what they believe to be a “typical” Friday night, exposing the minor flaws and delights of both sexes and their respective views on life, love and the universe. Art is lovably nonchalant and laidback, plodding through life with an offhand, care-free attitude. The exact type of attitude that would drive Gwen crazy. Gwen sees life as a fleeting opportunity: it must be lived immediately or you might just miss it. She is driven, motivated and works for every moment. This, alternatively, is exactly the type of attitude that would drive Art crazy.
A match made in heaven
Primarily comedic and entertaining, One Single Night may also just prove to be insightful and educational as the night’s exploits of the two heroes bring them ever closer together and to understanding one another, themselves and the true meaning of love. One night never felt so long.
